Is Gum Arabic (Acacia Gum, E414) safe in candy coating?

A natural soluble fiber from acacia trees. EFSA determined no numerical ADI is needed and found no safety concern at refined exposure levels. Not absorbed intact by the gut — partially fermented by intestinal microbiota as a prebiotic fiber. Well tolerated up to 30,000 mg/day.
