In the US, cosmetic companies are not required to prove their products are safe before putting them on shelves. The FDA can only act after harm is reported.
Ingredients like "fragrance" can legally hide hundreds of undisclosed chemicals — including known hormone disruptors — under a single word on a label.
Chemicals banned or restricted in EU cosmetics vs. the US. That's the gap we're trying to close with information.

When we link to products we've vetted, we disclose it. Always. Because you should know when there's a financial incentive in the picture.
We cross-reference everything.
No ingredient rating comes from a single source. We triangulate across regulatory databases, peer-reviewed toxicology studies, and biomonitoring data before assigning a label.
